Pay per on-call person, not per head on the account.

The most common complaint about PagerDuty: it charges for every user. With us you pay only for the people actually on call. The rest of the team uses it for free. Here is the monthly cost for a five-person on-call rota:

From alert to acknowledgement in five steps

A rule drives the incident until someone says “on it”. The same model as the global on-call league, and every step is saved in history.

01

Rule

You define the condition - when an event becomes an incident and who it concerns.

02

Timed steps

After X minutes without a response the escalation moves up: person, group, team.

03

Channels

A notification in the app, e-mail, SMS, Slack - or all of them at once.

04

Acknowledgement

“On it” stops the escalation. Someone else can take over the incident.

05

History

Who, when and how - a full trail of every notification and decision.

Everything an on-call team needs

The same model as the global on-call league, plus external alerts and connectors. What is not there yet we honestly mark as “soon”.

SLA rules

Any number of rules: condition, priority, escalation path. The Free plan includes three rules.

Timed steps

A time limit to respond - after it the escalation moves to the next person or group.

Acknowledge and take over

One click stops the escalation, and a teammate can take over the incident at any time.

External alerts

Webhook, API and connectors - plug in monitoring, uptime, CI or your own system.

On-call schedule and rotations soon

Shift schedule, rotations and overrides instead of pointing at a fixed person.

Wake-up call and push soon

A voice call with confirmation and a push that bypasses the “do not disturb” mode.

Migrating from Opsgenie? You are in the right place.

Atlassian shuts Opsgenie down on 5 April 2027, and Grafana OnCall has been archived. Thousands of teams are looking for a successor - and in Poland no one runs this locally, with a VAT invoice and Polish support.

inalarm gives you the same model of rules, escalations and acknowledgements, billing per on-call person instead of per user, and servers in Poland. You move over without a gap in incident coverage.

Frequently asked questions

What is inalarm?

inalarm is an on-call and incident escalation system for teams: rules, timed steps, acknowledgements and alerts via SMS, phone, push, e-mail and Slack. It is part of the Intum ecosystem, with servers in Poland and a VAT invoice.

How much does on-call cost in inalarm?

The Free plan is $0 forever for up to 5 people. Team is $5 per on-call person a month ($4 billed annually), and the 24/7 plan is $12 per on-call person. You pay only for the people actually on call, not for every account user.

Can inalarm replace Opsgenie or PagerDuty?

Yes, for escalation rules, timed steps, acknowledgements and SMS alerts. On-call schedules and wake-up calls are planned (we mark them honestly as “soon”), and billing per on-call person is usually clearly cheaper than paying per user.

How does escalation work?

A rule defines when an event becomes an incident. After the set time without a response the notification moves up - to the next person, group or team - until someone acknowledges “on it”. Every step is recorded in history.

Are there SMS and wake-up calls?

SMS work as an alert channel on Team and above (50 per on-call person, then credits for more). A wake-up voice call with confirmation is in the 24/7 plan and marked as “soon” - until then the plan collects sign-ups.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan is free forever: up to 5 people, 3 rules, unlimited alerts, e-mail, Slack and app channels, and 30 days of history. You start without a payment card.

The next incident will wake the right person.

Start for free in minutes. No card, no limit on team members.
